Neena Gupta’s delicious food posts always inspire us to take notes. The actress not only shares what she eats but also uploads several cooking videos on Instagram. Recently, the veteran star gave lauki (bottle gourd) a “makeover” by cooking it with chickpeas and shared the recipe with her Instagram family. First, she chops the bottle gourd into small pieces. Then, she takes the pre-soaked chickpeas that were already half-cooked with one whistle in a pressure cooker. After that, she adds chopped bottle gourd, grated tomatoes, salt, and turmeric to the chickpeas and cooks the mix for another two whistles. On the side, the actress prepares a tadka of onion, ginger, garlic, and dry masalas. Once the sabzi is cooked, Neena Gupta mixes it with the tadka and cooks for a few more minutes. Finally, the “gheeya chane” ki sabzi is ready to be served.
