UNAIR NEWS – Dendi Gustinandar was officially appointed as chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) of Airlangga University (UNAIR) for the Riau Islands Province (Kepri) for the 2021-2025 term. The inauguration was carried out by the General Chairperson of the IKA UNAIR Central Management Dr (HC) Khofifah Indar Parawansa at Balairung, 3rd Floor, Batam Business Agency (BP) Building, on Thursday (16/5/2024). The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from BP Batam, Batam City Government, as well as representatives from other university alumni associations in Indonesia.
Full support from the leadership of IKA UNAIR also strengthens commitment to the new management led by Dendi Gustinandar. Together with Yusfa Hendri as secretary and Gustian Riau as treasurer, they brought new hope to advance the potential and contribution of UNAIR alumni in the Riau Islands.

Commitment to the Way Forward
Dendi expressed his happiness for the trust given to him as chairman of IKA UNAIR Kepri. “I feel very grateful and honored for this trust. “With support and direction from the center, we feel inspired to make our best contribution to Indonesia’s development, especially in the Riau Islands,” he said.
In the midst of hopes and steps forward, he emphasized his determination to unite all UNAIR alumni in a strong forum. In order to provide innovative ideas and real contributions to national development, especially in the Riau Islands.
“I hope to be able to hold productive discussion sessions with students on campus, to introduce the great potential for development in the Riau Islands and establish close cooperation with the alma mater,” he added.
A vision for the future is not just discourse, but a real commitment to drive positive change. Dendi and his team are ready to face challenges and take advantage of existing opportunities to create a brighter future for the Riau Islands and Indonesia as a whole.
“With a spirit of togetherness and sincerity in contributing, they believe that together, they can make their dreams of a better future come true,” he concluded.
