Yesterday, Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the long-awaited remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver, were released in North America. They break the record for the highest-rated Pokémon games to date, with 9.1/10, indicating universal acclaim by audience and fans alike. This is on par with last year’s spinoff title, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. The new pair of games is 0.4 of a point higher than Pokémon Platinum, which scored 8.7/10. The future of Pokémon looks bright!
