Holding an MSc in Earth Science from Monash University (Australia), an MSc in Applied Geology, and a BSc (Hons) in Geology Bold textfrom Jadavpur University (India), Zarin Ali has built a solid foundation in geological research and applied science. She has worked as an Exploration Geologist specializing in base metals in the mining industry, gaining valuable hands-on experience in geological exploration and resource evaluation, from reputed organizations such as Hindustan Zinc Ltd (Vedanta) and A&B Global Mining Pvt Ltd.
In addition to her scientific expertise, Zarin Ali is an accomplished fiction author & actor, using storytelling to creatively engage with scientific concepts and make them accessible to a wider audience. Through writing and research, she aims to inspire others to pursue careers in science, while fostering a deeper appreciation for the world of discovery.
A passionate global traveler, Zarin Ali draws inspiration from diverse cultures and environments, which enriches both her scientific work and creative endeavors. She is also an active member of several prominent scientific societies, playing a key role in advancing the fields of geology and Earth science.
