“I see the enthusiasm of UNAIR students and alumni is extraordinary. This was proven by the fact that 576 participants registered to take part in this activity. “I hope that this enthusiasm will result in good collaboration between UNAIR and BPOM in the future,” said Irwansyah.

Irwansyah then explained that in the 2024 CASN selection, BPOM provided 28 positions. With a total of 781 formations open to fresh graduates to professionals. “Working at BPOM, there is career mapping, especially for fellow undergraduate students who have just graduated and are immediately accepted to work,” said Irwansyah.

Starting from UNAIR
Next, the Head of the Legal and Organizational Bureau of BPOM and an alumnus of the Faculty of Law UNAIR , Reghi Perdana SH LLM shared his experiences while working at BPOM. Reghi said that he had many opportunities to learn and develop because he was a state civil servant (ASN).

“One of the advantages of being an ASN is that you can get priority opportunities to get government scholarships to study Masters abroad. Therefore, this can be a consideration for fellow students because not only is their career guaranteed. But there are also broader learning opportunities,” said Reghi

However, Reghi also said that there are challenges working in a supervisory authority body such as BPOM. “Working in a supervisory agency requires a strong mentality because you deal directly with business actors. “I hope that my friends will dare to try new opportunities because the experience of going directly into society is a challenging and noble thing to do,” concluded Reghi.
