It is the 233rd anniversary of April 19, 1775, since 1775 + 233 = 2008. The number 233 is special as it is a Fibonacci number, the thirteenth term of that famous sequence. This is the first Fibonacci anniversary since 1919, which was the 144th anniversary. Since 233 is a prime number, it is also a Fibonacci prime.
