Tech company Google is starting to add “Audio Emoji” to their Google Voice app. The Audio Emoji feature is available to those who are part of the Beta Program (The Beta Program is currently closed), so not everyone has access to Audio Emoji.
Currently, there are six Audio Emojis:[edit]
- Poop
- Applause
- Sad
- Laughing
- Celebrate
- Drumroll
When an Audio Emoji is used, animation and sound will play. For example, A fart sound will play and a Poop emoji will be shown.
Opinions for this feature vary from very positive to very displeased. On one hand, A lot of people found the feature to be fun to use, but on the other hand, some people are upset because they wanted Google to instead fix important issues.
Overall, Audio Emoji is just starting, so there could be more emojis added to the feature.
