A humpback whale was seen for the first time in an Ireland river on December 3rd. The humpback whale was found in the Shannon Estuary. The humpback whale was seen on Nov. 26 and 27, from a Dec. 6 news release from the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group or (IWDG), a non-profit organization. The estuary flows into the Shannon River. It seemed to be small in size.
