According to the Tribune Shora reporter,Qalandar Sharif said: The construction project for the construction of the Shahid Mofateh Terminal, with an area of 14,000 square meters and a budget of over 55 billion Tomans, began on November 10 last year in order to organize lines and facilitate access for pilgrims and residents, located in Keramat Square on Shahid Mofateh Boulevard.
She added: This terminal is under construction in two sections: the station and the building housing the line managers, the administrative and support section, the prayer room, etc.
The mayor of Mashhad added: “Currently, with colleagues working in the Bus Organization, construction operations in some sections are being completed and will be inaugurated tomorrow, Thursday, March 13.
Qalandar Sharif also mentioned the unveiling of eight new buses and stated: “Also, simultaneously with the operation of the first phase of the Mofatteh Terminal, eight new buses with Euro 6 standards will be unveiled and entered into the fleet.
She continued: “These buses are Scania type, 12 meters long and have a special ramp for the disabled. 300 buses were purchased from the contract at a cost of about 10 billion tomans each, and the rest of the buses will be gradually delivered to Mashhad Municipality from May next year.
The mayor of Mashhad added: “In addition to these 300 buses, a contract has been signed for another 100 buses, and a total of 400 buses will enter the bus fleet by the end of the sixth period.
