Russian Wikinews attended one of the latest cultural events in Crimea.

On September 23, 2024, in the Central City Library of Yalta, located on the southern coast of Crimea, a creative meeting of the Russian travel-writer Viktor Pinchuk was held, at which a book with the strange title Mongolian Huivaldagch ((ru))Russian language: ‍Монгольский хуйвалдагч. was presented, where the second word, borrowed from the Khalkha-Mongolian dialect, means “conspirator”.

However, the title is not the only case of the author using linguistic inclusions: the brochure is filled with expressions and phrases from the language of the descendants of the once formidable conqueror Genghis Khan, to whom, by the way, several pages are devoted in the book.

The author told the story of the creation of the literary work, briefly described the road adventures and the route taken, and showed Mongolian photographs.

The second part of the event was held in the format of a dialogue, where each of those present could ask the lecturer any question within the latter’s competence.
