The United States will pause all future and ongoing military aid packages sent to Ukraine, the White House announced on Tuesday.
The move completely upends US foreign policy up to this point, coming after a failed meeting between Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday. Head of the Ukrainian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Oleksandr Merezhko stated: “On the surface, this looks really bad. It looks like he is pushing us towards capitulation”.
