UNAIR will open 4 independent admissions in 2024

UNAIR NEWS – After being invaded by thousands of prospective new students (Maba) who wanted to register at UNAIR through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) and National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT). This time, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) will also open Independent registration. Uniquely, in 2024, UNAIR will provide 4 Independent selection pathways. These include Mandiri Achievement, Mandiri UTBK Plus, Mandiri Written Exam, and Mandiri Written Exam Partnership. Participants may register for more than one independent selection route.

Independent Achievement
For prospective new students who have not passed the UNAIR SNBP route, this route could be an interesting option to try. The reason is that the Independent selection of achievements is assessed based on the results of report cards and academic/non-academic achievements. Specific requirements consist of:

Grade 12 students graduating in 2024
Eligible students who register for SNBP 2024
Have a 2024 SNBP card with a choice of study programs at Airlangga University.

Registration: May 27, 2024 – June 27, 2024

Revision of Registration Documents: 27 May – 28 June 2024

Verification of Registration Documents: 27 May – 28 June 2024

Selection Fee Payment: 27 May – 28 June 2024

Mandiri UTBK Plus
UTBK Plus Independent Selection is a route using the 2024 UTBK-SNBT scores and the Academic Ability Test (TKA) according to the chosen study program. The UTBK score used is UTBK 2024. Apart from that, the written exam also uses a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is held at the UNAIR Surabaya Campus.

Verification of registration documents: 3 June – 9 July 2024

Payment of selection fees: 3 June – 9 July 2024

Academic Ability Test (TKA) Examination: 13 – 14 July 2024

Announcement of selection results: 17 July 2024

Independent Written Exam
The third route is the Independent Written Examination selection held by UNAIR. The selection includes the Academic Potential Test (TPA) and Academic Ability Test (TKA) according to the chosen study program. And as usual, the written exam uses CBT which is held at the UNAIR Surabaya Campus.

Mandiri Written Exam Partnership
The written exam partnership independent test material consists of an Academic Potential Test (TPA) and an Academic Ability Test (TKA) according to the chosen study program. The exam also uses CBT which is held at the UNAIR Surabaya Campus. For prospective new students who wish to take part in this selection, there are several special requirements that must be met. For example, having a recommendation from a partner as shown in a statement letter. Partners can come from government agencies or companies that have or will collaborate with UNAIR.
